Speech and Debate Success! |
|
Please congratulate the Wilde Lake Speech and Debate Team who placed 2nd out of 25 schools at Saturday's meet at Reservoir High. Here's how they did it:
Nikhil Manohar won gold in Drama with perfect scores in every round. He also won Gold in Duo Interpretation, with partner Russell Rollow, and placed second in the all-around competition. Wilde Lake's Extemporaneous Speaking team dominated with a three-way tie for silver among Connor Adamson, Duncan Enerson and Henry Enerson! Lastly, co-Captains Dayva Frank and Russell Rollow won Honorable Mentions in Lincoln-Douglas debate.
Special thanks are due to Mr. John McGivern, who did double duty judging both speech and debate on Saturday!

The 2012 Advanced Placement (AP) exams will be administered during the weeks of May 7-11 and May 14-18. Registration for the exams opens on February the 2nd and must be submitted to the Guidance Office before March 15.
