Fine Arts Boosters
The Fine Arts Boosters is a group of parents and fine arts teachers whose main focus is the Drama, Choir and Dance departments and the students involved in the arts. We work through volunteer efforts and donations to support all of the concerts and drama productions throughout the school year, as well as fund-raise to support projects related to the performing arts. Our parent volunteers assist with jobs such as ticket sales, concessions, box office, costumes, Cappies Night support and publicity. Some of our volunteers also go into the community to seek out corporate sponsors and donations. Additionally, we help to purchase items for the fine arts teachers and their departments. As an example, two years ago we were able to purchase the Plexiglas window boxes along the hallway outside of the JRT, which are used to showcase the students' bios and our upcoming events. This year, we plan to purchase a new video camera system that will be shared among the fine arts teachers. Thank you for all your support. |
